I don't know of any Sonic's in Columbus. Have only ate at one once, I believe in Penn.

Can't remember if we tipped.


EDIT: I guess the closest one to me is 60 miles away, in Nelsonville.

Sonic is a funny topic, I've only eaten there once now, and it happened just this past year, but living in Columbus there are no Sonics around, yet we get constant advertising for it, so as I'm moving into OU last year, we pass 2, one in Nelsonville and one just outside the campus... it was quite the scene to finally see a Sonic. So one night we figured we had to try it and it is actually pretty good, but anyways getting back on the topic at hand, no we didn't tip.

why would you ever feel the need to tip at sonic? all they do is carry your food to the car! a trained monkey could do that. on the other hand, if a trained monkey brought me my food i'd probably tip him/her cause that would be cool. i don't know if i'd eat it though, you never know how clean monkeys are? how hard is it to get a helper monkey anyway? I think i could really use one. sometimes on the weekend i don't want to have to keep getting up to get another beer. if i had a monkey that could do that for me that would be kicka$$. i'd even tip him if he did that. not real money or anything, cause let's face it what's a monkey going to do with spare change. i guess if i took him, he could go to sonic and get some of those bananas they put in the banana splits. i wonder if he would tip?
