DEBuckeye

It ain't easy, bein' cheesy.
Has anyone ever fallen asleep at work? I'm not talking about a nap on your lunch hour, I'm talking about closing the office door and going to sleep when you're supposed to be working.

I'm so freakin' tired right now, I could fall asleep standing up.

:sleep2: :sleep2: :sleep2:

When I was in high school I worked at a grocery store and the summer before I left for college I worked the night shift. One night a buddy of mine that worked there was nowhere to be found. My boss had us looking all over the store for him...break room, dairy cooler, manager's office, deli cooler, freezers, etc. Only when someone went to do the paper towel aisle did they find him asleep behind a wall of perfectly placed Bounty rolls. He was fired on the spot.

While I've never fallen asleep at work I have fallen asleep standing up. :pimp:

Considering my job is boring as hell, you'd think I would sleep all day. However, I've never dozed off on the job. The crazy old lady in the office next to mine sleeps all afternoon almost every day. She also has a habit of crapping in her adult diaper too. What a great place to work...

I've fallen asleep at work a couple times. One time, sitting at my computer, eyes just closed. The other time I actually crawled underneath my desk and took a ten minute catnap.

I used to fall asleep at school like it was my job. Mostly during class, though sometimes I'd feign illness, go to the nurse and sleep in one of the paper-covered beds. Once I fell asleep cross-legged, in a chair outside the principal's office, where I'd been sent for falling asleep in class.

I like sleep.

There is a deaf guy here at work that falls asleep almost every day (fingers on the keyboard and everything). I feel for him though, our work is less than interesting most days, I couldn't imagine living in a silent world as well.

We had a work day at school, where we had to be in the building, and doing something, technically, so I fell asleep sitting up straight in my desk chair, given how I was hungover, and only got 4 hours of sleep after being at a show until 1:00 the previous night.

Oops. I didnt tell the whole truth. In high school, I also worked for a supermarket. One day I was so hung over I couldnt even stand up. There was this shelf next to the produce cooler, so I climbed up it and fell asleep on top of the cooler for about an hour. My buddy told be the boss asked for me once, but no one was the wiser.
