The fucking cult has gone too far now. Apparently, Orlando Pace is an investor in the St. Louis radio station that just shitcanned cult apologist and media mouthpiece Slaten. Slaten let them have Orlando's cell phone number, and now they're organizing a harassment campaign.

The thought process of those inbreds in mind-numbing:

    BlueLion
Gore got 95% of the black vote. Kerry got 93% of the black vote.
Are either of those guys black?

Uh, the statement that got Slaten canned was that blacks will not vote for a white candidate if there's a black candidate...dipshit.

    Class of 67
And what abut white voters who reject Obama only because he's black?*

Almost 40% of whites voted for Obama, while only 6% voted for Romney. It's pretty clear which race was voting on skin color only...

Just how is pointing out a huge disparity in voting among the two main racial groups in the country being racist?
    Pretty simple really.

He was basing his arguement on the fact people were only voting for Obama because he is the same race as them, I take that as a racist comment, since it was purely based in race.

How is this not a racist rant? from this link

The next time someone tells me that the black voters are not bigoted, stick it in the trash can because black voters are bigoted ? 93 percent (of the black vote went) for Obama, 6 percent for (Mitt) Romney ? you?re bigots,'' he said on the air. "You might not be bigots in your normal life but when you vote you are bigots. ... that?s how you vote.

?There was a black preacher that said, ?Vote for the black man.? If there was a white preacher that said, ?Vote for the white guy,? he would have been pillaged.??

Slaten added, ?When it comes to black voters and a black president ... you?re not going to vote for a white guy if there?s a black choice. And I think that?s despicable and I think that black voters ought to be ashamed of themselves for voting that way because of race. And that?s what they did.??

To be clear, if he would have come out and said that white people only voted for Romney was because he was white, I would view it as a racist comment since the main point is based on race and a stereotype of the targeted race.

I think you better brush yourself up on the actual meaning of the word "racist":

Racism - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary
A belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

Pointing out that one racial group voted a member of their group to a much greater degree than did another racial group did for a member of their group is in no way, shape, or form, being racist.

Don't jump into a discussion if you don't know the most basic meaning of the word.

And still only 5% and 7% voted for Bush, when their opposite choice was another white guy. Seems to me that most black Americans vote Democrat regardless of the skin color of the candidate.

You may be right. I'd like to see how it would pan out when/if the GOP ever had a black candidate and the Dems a white candidate. If that were the case and the white Dem candidate still got 90+ percent of the black vote then Slaten could definitely be called out.

I'm surprised that Slaten didn't bring up Obama's "African Americans for Obama" coalition. Imagine the shit-storm if Romney tried to start a "Caucasians for Romney" coalition.

I know the definition of the word, and they way he was stating his case is racist. His comments were wrapped around his belief that black voters voted for Obama simply because of the color of their skin. That is a racist comment anyway you slice it.

Check the stats on voting as others have posted, it shows his comments to be racist since the basically same percentage of black voters voted for white guys runnining the Dem spot in elections past.

Just because you may agee with him doesn't make his comments any less racist. I really don't care if you agree with me or not, but when a person makes a statement that is purely based in race in hateful manner, such as Mr. Slaten did in his comment when called said voters bigots for voting the way they did, it is racist.

Black voters overwhelmingly vote Democrat. This is true although the numbers that have been quoted so far are off a bit...

    Obama (12) 93%, Obama (08) 95%, Kerry 88%, Gore 90%, Clinton (96) 84%, Clinton (92) 83%, Dukakis 89%, Mondale 91%, Carter (80) 83%, Carter (76) 83%

It's also fair to say that President Obama received a larger percentage of the black vote than is typical for Democrat candidates.

Castigating black voters for being more likely to vote for a black candidate is not racist. Tom Joyner admitted he voted for President Obama because of race. Samuel L Jackson stated he voted for President Obama because of race. Snoop Dogg claims his #1 reason for voting for Obama was race.

When Stacey Dash (who is black) came out in support of Romney the reaction from blacks was overwhelmingly negative. She was called a house ni**er & a traitor.

I understand that those who automatically cry 'racist!' at the heretics who support someone other than the President don't actually want to be reminded that there a strong argument that non-white voters are more likely to vote based on the color of a candidate's skin but nevertheless it is there.

BTW in the 2008 Democratic primaries Hillary Clinton received 15% of the black vote. 85% voted for Barack Obama. Those racist whites voted 56 to 44 in favor Hillary Clinton.

So far we haven't touched on the raw number of black voters in 08 & 12. What percentage of black voters typically made it to the booths in previous Presidential elections compared to the most recent two? If it was significantly higher in 08 (and most folks agree that it was) then what exactly was different in that election that brought them out in greater numbers?
