A Harlem Globetrotters player may be lucky to be alive after he narrowly avoided being crushed by a falling backboard during a game in Honduras.
In the video below, William “Bull” Bullard tried to put his feet up on the backboard while hanging from the rim after a dunk during a game in Tegucigalpa. While Bullard was hanging, the basket support collapsed, and the backboard came hurtling toward the ground, eventually shattering on the floor.
Fortunately for Bullard, the backboard missed his head, and he escaped mostly unharmed, aside from a cut on his face.
