Skipping School-Big Problem in CPS

The bus thing is a pretty out there soultion to the problem for a one-time issue. I'm guessing it wasn't planned that there was car trouble.
Besides one day off will not hurt a kid. This is coming from a person who only missed 2 during my whole time in high-school also.

Car trouble is no excuse for missing school. If you are not in a bussing zone for your school, then you live close enough to walk.

I think I missed 7 days of school in my entire high school career. I would only miss class if I was throwing up all over the place.

I got you beat. I missed 2 and a half days of HS. One was to go to one of the state championship football games. The half was for senior skip day. My parents wouldn't let me stay home for pretty much any reason as long as I could get out of bed. The response I always got out of my dad was, "Just go in and if you don't feel better after a couple periods I'll let you go home". It sucks when he works for the school system.
To make it even better he was the person who was in charge of never calling off school and everyone knew it (Yeah AKAK you can blame that on me). One time the school paper had a cartoon about my dad not calling off school.

Wow exciting spring break..You'll get back to school everyone else will be talking about going somewhere, hanging out, going to the mall, playing baseball in this great weather, and yours will be.....ummmm I sat at my computer all week.

Nobody talks to him anyway so it won't matter how he spent his spring break. If Teddy Swim Team had any friends he wouldn't spend all his free time on here. He has nothing better to do than sit at home and breathe in his mom's second hand smoke.

This teacher has the day off tomorrow.
I just got back from the doctor worried my eye was screwed up from the Renu contact solution and instead I find out I just landed the luckiest illness of them all, pink-eye. I look at it as a vacation day, rather then a sick-day.

Well, if it wasn't for a skull fracture, where I missed 4 days in a row, I only missed 3.

Nonetheless, there's no reason to miss class unless you're puking your guts out.

golf fight?

I guess I'm just lucky that I don't get sick very often. A few years ago I had Strep throat and that is the most sick that I can remember being since I was a kid. I had a kidney stone 8 years ago and that put me in the hospital for a day. I don't even remember the last time I puked. "Puke free since 93"
