The funniest thing about tsun fans getting so excited about Harbaugh tweaking Meyer like he famously tweaked Pete Carroll is that he got totally tea bagged by Pete Carroll in the big games they played.
It's the same every year. That get a boner for a dozen things every offseason before crashing back down to reality once the games start. That's funny, sure. But the most funny thing is that this tweet is the thing about which the Michigan fan base has been most excited in the past 10 or so years re: their football program. In other words, the Michigan fan base is not just the dumbest fan base in college football, but apparently it's also the most pathetic.
There's been quite a bit of rationalization and excuse making too. Everything from "hairball was the most important recruit cause he'll majik all the current players into super bowl mvps with his coaching" to "it was going to be a small class anyway so it doesn't matter." They've all forgotten how he was going to walk into AA and have every single 5* decommitting and begging for a scholarship just to be near the great one.The funniest thing to me is they were expecting Harbaugh to absolutely crush it recruiting once he came in.
He failed miserably on that [Mark May]. So do the fans adjust their expectations or spend any time thinking about it at all?
Quite simply, Harbaugh is Ike & Meyer is Doc Holiday
Well, that's 4, and I think that's a pretty safe bet unless one of their giggle fuck QB's can piece together a 2004 Chad Henne-type first season. And that seems unlikely, as much of his 2004 season consisted of launching jump balls in the general direction of Braylon Edwards.True or False?....
Harbaugh will have more losses in 2015 than Urban's had in his first 4 seasons in Columbus?
