He's not calling out a player for lying about mental health, he's calling out the NCAA for having a random approval process for transfers.
Saying that Lawyers are telling kids what to say to get their transfer approved, which we all know is happening. I mean really, I believe 90% of the reason Fields transferred is because he wanted to play and didn't think he was getting a fair shot.
Mental health in a sport with concussions needs to be taken very seriously, and I have no doubt that transfer lawyers have told kids to claim depression to get their transfer. Not saying it's all of them, but it's definitely on the list of things that will get a transfer approved.
To avoid this he is saying the NCAA should institute a one time transfer for anyone without a reason.
I think Hairball is a fool as much as the rest of you, but I think in this #hottake world people are taking his comments out of context to get clicks.
