I'm wondering if what Harbrau is interpreting as the team "having a chip on its shoulder" is actually a bit of hostility towards him.... He only last 4 years at Standford and San Fran until they were ready to get rid of him. I'm wondering if he's reached that point where the players are tired of his schtick and antics and lack of results at ttun...
Has anyone done a regression analysis to determine the effectiveness of teams with chips on shoulders vs those without? Does the chip give you added motivation, or does it make you play unbalanced due to the extra weight of the chip on that side?
