SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

I probably should go back through this thread and clandestinely delete all my posts where I said I'd be concerned if he ever were to take over the scUM head coaching gig...
Here is my post from 2011:

"I would welcome him to coach TSUN. He is over-rated and mentally deficient. I guarantee you we would dominate the rivalry series with him at the helm. Plus the comic relief with him as their coach would provide us hours and hours and hours of pure bliss."

Note: I may have made this up.

I think the preferred approach around here is just to ignore the posts where you were wrong but be sure to remind everyone when something turned out to be true.

I'm just so glad to have been so fucking wrong...
My personal favorite way to go back to those old incorrect posts is to edit them and change the text so that it says something like “Buckyle won’t admit it, but he shaves his legs.” Or “BKB’s face looks better after that accident with the horse.” Just a thought...

Also keep in mind that the last time any scum coach had less than 2 losses and or ties was in 1997 so Hairball isn't alone add Hoke and Rrichrod, and 11 eleven years of Carr.
And he sure hasn't turned them into a national powerhouse. 38 and 13 isn't all that good. Actually they have had only 1 Nat'l. Champ. in 70 years.
Further back Moeller had at least 2 losses per year and usually 3 or 4. Even Bo had only 5 years out of 20 with only one loss .
So maybe Hairball is just following those who came before him.

if I may borrow from @Jaxbuck here;

your whore mouth.

shut it.

SimpLLLLe Jim is a fine coach and should sign a lifetime contract.

Agreed. He is home and home is where he needs to stay.

Why would they ever get rid of him? He's done exactly what they wanted him to do. He's returned the program to what it was under Bo, Moeller and Carr.

Ownership of The Little Brown Jug has been restored.

The only thing that completely shocks me about Harbaugh is that he doesn't seem to get the Game. I never thought that he'd turn them into a national powerhouse, but I did think that he'd have them playing with their hair on fire against OSU. Glad to be totally wrong about that one,
He’s the polar opposite of hoke. Hoke’s teams played like shit against bad teams, despite hauling in pretty highly rated recruits. But that last game of the year, they played their asses off against superior tOSU teams. Harbrau’s teams, made increasingly of 3* “harbrau guys”, build their rep and gather hype by mostly stomping on tomato cans, but no-show against tOSU. I’d say it’s bizarre, but harbrau’s history of soaking his khakis in big games was pretty well established prior to going to ttun, and he’s continued it in glorious fashion.

Harbaugh came close to winning two of the games - one by less than the length of a football. One in which he held the lead deep into the third quarter only to have Haskins come in and play lights out. What Harbaugh hasn't had is the better quarterback in any edition of The Game. Whispereer my ass.

So he has progressed worse. To be expected as with his recruits, right?

Hoke actually won an edition of The Game and was in it until the bitter end in the other 3.

Jim Kardashian is 0-4 and been boat raced twice and that is underselling the magnitude of the beating he just took. 62 points with Urban kneeling at the end.

Hoke > Harbaugh. They don't want to hear it but it's true.
