So it was known that Hamilton really wanted to go to Stanford but committed to Michigan as a back-up plan and then got accepted at his first choice school. That's exactly the same as misleading a kid who is not looking around and then yanking the rug in January.

Ummm...Devery Hamilton wanted to go to Stanford from the beginning, but had serious concerns about getting admitted. He committed to Michigan as a nice "secondary landing place" that still has a tremendous academic reputation,

He was recently admitted to Stanford......so he took advantage of it.

As an aside, this is a PERFECT example of why I don't care about Harbaugh allegedly "pulling scholarships" from recruits.
