TT is the team that I would prefer to play the least. I hate watching our defense play that soft zone against a team playing "basketball on grass". That, and the fact that it is being played in their home state makes this game a tough one for us.

I think this would be a fun game for that very reason. JT and Co. have a month to prepare for their attack. Our secondary should be healthy and is really starting to hit its stride - as is our overall D. Ginn might even get a few reps if that were our opponent.

How about if Oklahoma loses in the Big 12 championship to Colorado. That would put Colorado in the BCS and most likely knock Oklahoma out of the BCS (BCS at-large spots are almost impossible to get this year due to mid-majors). So Oklahoma or Texas would likely get the Cotton Bowl...and we may MAY get the other. Wouldn't that be something if the Cotton Bowl chose Texas and somehow we ended up playing Oklahoma. HAHAHA...I really really doubt this could ever happen...but either way, i'm rooting for Colorado hardcore!

The few times that we've played press man-to-man coverage and turned up the heat on the rush, we've shut down passing offenses (Purdue second half, Michigan from their third drive through the third quarter). While this year's defense is not quite as good as our 2002 defense that put the clamps on Chump Dingleberry, this late season defense has the capability to hold Texas Tech in check.

Really? Miss the fact that they beat Okie st 31-15 this past weekend? How bout that 70-10 pasting of Nebraska? The marjority of the year, their D has given up teens and 20's. I wouldnt pass them off as being pussies quite yet :)

the one advantage osu has is that TT will bring the same scheme they used in 2002. osu will offensively not look anything like they did in 2002.

If you smack around Cumbie enough, he gets wild, much like Henne starting getting eratic in the 2nd half.

They looked decent defensively in some games. However, they do give up an average of 26 ppg.

They are 76th against the run, but 13th against the pass. The only reason they beat osu last week is that they sold out to stop the run, and osu cant pass to save itself.
