I think he should be given another year.

The team this year was woefully outmanned and was in just about every game.

Should have beaten the Jets.
Have some great young talent in Joe Haden and TJ Ward in the defensive backfield.
I'm excited about a Browns QB for the first time in the last 20 years.

Mangini deserves to be given the chance to see if he can get this team to move foward.

They need another CB. A WR that is actually a deep threat.

I'm looking forward to seeing what moves they make in the off season.

With a lockout possibly on the way I don't see owners wanting to pay two or three coaches (Is Romeo sill on the payroll?) to not do anything. Right now I see this going one of two ways. They give Mangini one more year to see if he can turn it around or Holmgren takes over as coach for a couple years to get the team going in the direction that he wants and then bring in one of his guys to coach. I just don't see them hiring a Gruden with the type of uncertainty that is out there. Hopefully everyone is smart enough to realize that a lockout is the worst thing that could happen to the NFL.
Give me another draft like last year and Mangini can really be held accountable for the results on the field.

This is the most competitive Cleveland Browns team I have seen since their return. EM and staff has done a pretty good job with the roster and they have gotten the most out of the players they have. This team is going in the right direction. They are still 2 - 3 years away from being legit contenders unless they pull a dumb ass move like they did in the previous draft and trade up to get a broken RB out of Tennessee, then make it 4 - 5 years. That was the biggest bonehead move out of the draft. Draft smart, do not go for reaches, bring in some good FAs in some key areas and this team is in looking good. Really interested to see what they try to do in the offseason.

Keep Eric around for another year to see what he can do with an improved roster.
