Sheraton Hawaii Bowl Ntre Ame vs Hawaii

Don't they roast fat pigs in Hawaii? This could be ND's master plan to get rid of him.

Hawaiian's don't dig their imu pits (what they roast their pigs in) deep enough for Fat Boy to fit in, lest they have another lava vent.

EDIT: Someone beat me the to the "Charlie=9th Hawaiian Island" tag... :slappy:

Has anyone looked into whether Jabba will sink the island?

Got to admit, this is a can't miss game. There's simply no downside. Beating Hawaii proves absolutely nothing, but watching ND lose to the #84 team in the country would be absolutely outstanding.

Plus, there's an absolutely high likelihood that both the Hawaii team and the Hawaii fans will go stone cold thug on the visiting domers. Hawaii fans make WVU fans look like a bunch of Ivy Leaguers at a fencing match. Domers fleeing for their safety from the stadium. On-field brawls. This is fucking must see tv.

A lot of good teams have gone out there over the years thinking they were going to waltz out with a bowl victory and didn't. This is not a good team we're talking about, so anything is possible in this one for sure.

Hawaii is not the team they were last year. Notre Dame normally faces a team WAY better- tOSU, LSU, Oregon State, etc.

Hawaii is not exactly a juggernaut, though I will bet 100 vbucks!

Maybe, MAYBE, the Irish win... if they can get out of their own way.

while its true this isn't last years hawaii team. UC is considerably better than neutered and lame and they struggled significantly saturday. while im guessing at least a little of that had to do with the game being played at 3 in the [censored]ing morning. if the hawaii bowl is on a similar 11:30 start time i could see the fightning fatties get rolled pretty hard. hawaii at a neutral site would be a challeneging enough but at home, all the way over in hawaii, possibly stupid late?

any truth to the rumors that the domers setup special transportation for the game? im guessing they went with:

Boy, the Pirates are in for a suprise if they try to take over that ship. ND may pay the pirates to make that fat-fuck walk the reinforced plank.

To clear up any confusion about the when/where/what about this fabulous matchup:

12/24 Hawai'i Bowl
(Hawai'i vs. Notre Dame)
Aloha Stadium
Honolulu, HI

8pm
(full breakdown of all bowl games here: http://mattsarz44017.tripod.com/2008/bowls.html )

As others have stated, this is no ND gimme. Cincy had their hands full. While Hawaii doesn't have a lot of talent, they have late hits, unsportsmanlike conduct, and roughing the passer a-plenty. ND will wish they had stayed home after this game is over, even if they do manage to win.

If ND can lose to SYRACUSE...they can lose to anybody!

I will consider this my early Christmas present that I normally open on Christmas Eve, if (edit: WHEN) ND loses! :slappy:

And that's just their fans in the stands. The players are downright mean. This is a great, great game--60 minutes of watching the domers get bullied, cheap-shotted and trash talked as they lose yet another bowl game. I just hope espn has the common decency to show the extracurricular activity in the stands.

Well that's good, at least Charlie can point his finger and blame somebody else when his team comes apart at the seams and extends its bowl futility. Wouldn't want anything to actually be Charlie's fault, you know ...
