Serious skills right there. It's like a combination of Tate Forcier's vision and Sam McGuffie's elusiveness. I'm really impressed with the way he squares his shoulders up and meets the tackler with his sternum.

Give the kid a break.

Did you see how he went completely limp to avoid serious injury when he was driven into the turf? That takes skill and a lot of practice.

I think he has a wrist band that says he's smarter than he thinks you think he is.

I LOVE the Hoke strategy. He's taking scUM back to the Lllllloyd Carr early-mid 2000's. It's definitely a step forward from the DickRod era, but I see them being a consistent 8-5 to 10-3 type team that will reach a CCG every couple of years.

1) He doesn't go through his progressions and generally locks into one receiver.
2) It appears his delivery and release is very slow.....

Yeah, I thought the same thing. He really hangs the deep ball out there in a place where anybody can get it, and he throws the slant low and three yards behind his receiver like he has spent years perfecting it.

He's gonna plug into their system nicely.

I noticed that, too. Looks like a Tebow style wind up without the toughness in the running game.
