That's a tough call but Smith want to be a Buckeye. I think I might take Smith because from what I read he is pretty versatile and can probably play at least 3 positions pretty easily and probably could be stretched to the 4 position. He is also physically strong and I also think has a fairly decent handle. Perhaps Golden was a better shooter but I like Smith.:)DaytonBuck;1298145; said:Smith or Golden?

So we are glad to have Smith over Golden? Who is more likely to run the point...Smith or Sibert? I assume Sibert?

I don't see Smith playing the point other than in a pinch........I view Sibert as more of a two guard..........so I guess they could both play some minutes a PG but we really need Crater and possibly Offutt to hold it down......we need Teague or another pure point guard..........
Agree also but Crater and Offult will still be here for a couple years so I don't see Smith having to play a lot at the PG.crazybuckfan40;1300311; said:I agree, I would say Smith is more likely to play the point in a pinch...I would liken him to Offut, as a combo guard where he could play the PG but his overall game may be more suited for the 2 guard...
As for Sibert I liken him to more of a wing/slasher...He can shoot it get to the rim and finish/Dunk...I would say he is more of a 2/3 combo...Kinda like Lighty...
And yes 2011 we need a pure point...Teague would be a great place to look...

Don't forget about Stevie Taylor:)

Zion-Benton's Lenzelle Smith, an Ohio State recruit, nearly did a find a way to break Warren's heart. On his way to 17 fourth-quarter points and five three-pointers, Smith hit three consecutive threes in the final two minutes to pull Zion-Benton (5-1) within two baskets. Warren hit its free throws late to ice the win, but no one could blame Smith.
He finished with a game-high 39 points, including seven 3s, seven rebounds and three steals.
"He's a great player," Paul said. "He showed why he's one of the best, if not the best player in his class."
