SF Justice Sueing (Official Thread)

Haven't heard any news in a long time on Justice. Is he done for the year or is there a chance he plays at some point?

I do not think anyone knows including Holtmann. If they ever can get him fixed physically in the next couple weeks, he still would have his stamina to build up for to play in actual Big Ten games not practice. Still has really not come out what is physically wrong with him unless I missed it somewhere.

Trevi reply:
Says here some type of abdominal injury

If have to say it looks like he should medical for this season. Looking like March before he would be a real contributor on the season. Unless this one is going to be it for him in college. Sucks to miss a whole season but next season will be full of youth and could really use him healthy

He already has 3 years of eligibility waiting and you want him to get another year. The poor kid will be in a rocking chair when he graduates. Maybe another year and then step aside so we can bring in another young gun.

Wow thought he had this one and the COVID option. I can't see him contributing much this year unfortunately. Towns either though I miss those beautiful bank shots.

“He is eligible for the additional COVID year. That’ll be a conversation that he and I will have,” Holtmann said. “I think he’s taking it one step at a time and evaluating how he feels. … We’ll sit back after the season and evaluate if it’s best for him. We’d love to have to him back, but he’s gotta feel like it’s right.”

Sueing intends to play, but it seems he's not (yet) committed to where he'll play.

JUSTICE SUEING WILL REPORTEDLY RETURN TO COLLEGE NEXT SEASON, BUT HASN'T MADE FINAL DECISION ON WHERE

Following the initial report, The Columbus Dispatch reported that Sueing is "likely" to come back to the Buckeye program in 2022-23, with an official announcement on his decision expected within the next week.

Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann openly said throughout the year that he would welcome Sueing back if he wanted to return in 2022-23, and the Hawaii native still has the opportunity to take him up on that offer.

Just announced he's coming back. Hell yeah, let's ride.
