As a high school basketball player, David Lighty?s goal each game was a triple-double. As a freshman at Ohio State, his goal is to keep his opponent below his season scoring average. "I might not be scoring," Lighty said, "but he isn?t either. Then we?re even."

David needs to be the guy with a chip on his shoulder on Sunday. He's got to be able to slow Alando Tucker down. Help will have to come from Hunter and Oden's presence, but mostly Lighty's toughness and will to deny Tucker will be a major factor.

If Xavier's exhibit A., Tennessee's now exhibit B in Ohio State's museum of comebacks. The Buckeyes rally from 20 down to beat the Vols and reach the Elite Eight where they'll take on Memphis, who finds success in charity.

Not down on last nights performance at all.

There was an expectation that he would have a Conley type of year.
But, Mike Conleys are few and far.
David had a normal freshman type of year.
Play defensive minutes and learn the college game.

While I agree with your sentiments in the above post, I was lost on why you were asking "Why so down on him?" (inferring that someone did not like his play last night)... if you were referring to something earlier in the thread please be specific next time to avoid confusion. Thanks!
