SF Brice Sensabaugh (Utah Jazz)

28th is a lot lower than he thought he was going to go but the Jazz are a pretty good landing spot
Hey he went first round, that is big & the main thing he should have been hoping for. He gets at least 2 years guaranteed, and the team has more of an incentive to try and help him make it. Being a second round pick is not necessarily much of an improvement over being undrafted.

Brice Sensabaugh broke a Summer League record on Monday night.
The former Ohio State star scored 37 points – the most ever in a Salt Lake City Summer League game – on just 14 field goal attempts as he led the Utah Jazz to a 112-111 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Sensabaugh shot 9-of-14 from the field, including six makes on nine 3-point attempts, and went 13-of-14 from the free throw line.

The performance led some to wonder why Sensabaugh, who’s entering his third season in the NBA, is even playing in the Summer League this year. Sensabaugh established himself as a regular contributor for the Jazz last season, averaging 10.9 points per game across 71 games.

That said, Summer League is an opportunity for Sensabaugh to continue expanding his skill set and build momentum off a strong finish to last season. The No. 28 overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft hit his stride in the final two months of his second NBA campaign, scoring double digits in 23 of the Jazz’s final 28 games, including three straight games of 22 points or more to end the season.
Sensabaugh spent one season at Ohio State, leading the 2022-23 Buckeyes with 16.3 points per game before entering the NBA draft.
