Absolutely a huge blow to our wing/forward defense, especially with Jallow already out. Hopefully it won't affect the outcome of most of the games Andre will miss, but the already-tough Nova game just got a whole lot tougher--not just because Nova is good but because of the specific guys they have that I will wish we had Andre defending.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State basketball coach Chris Holtmann has confirmed that his lone senior Andre Wesson will miss Sunday’s game against UMass Lowell with an eye injury.
Holtmann did not have specifics on what the injury is or what his timetable to return is, but admitted that Wesson’s presence will be missed most on the defensive end.
“We don’t have another guy in our program that’s like Andre," Holtmann said. “Andre connects our defense as well as anybody I’ve coached.”

despite andre coming off the bench, he still played 31 minutes (second only to walker's 33) versus washington's 24. whether or not andre starts, i expect that he'll continue to get starter's minutes.
