or just a "wardrobe malfunction"; Schmidt probably had a defective chin strap.

Seemed to be having a similar problem with his mouth-guard.

knowing ESPN... I'll be eating breakfast tomorrow morning when I see on the bottom ticker "Owen Schmitt breaks record breaking 6th helmet".

Besides the "Oh shit he has a mo hawk" and "Oh shit watch him smack himself with his helmet!" the third most talked about thing with Owen is the fact that he's supposively broken his facemask 5 times?? Who he hell counts those things.. It's like the moron who always claims to have drank 28 beers the night before when you know they couldn't possibly remember all the drinks they've had.

I heard Barton had big time trouble today though in the drills

When MIke Singletary was at Baylor they kept track of how many helmets he cracked.

Official Website - Chicago Bears

Singletary hit with such explosive power that he actually cracked 16 helmets during his years at Baylor.

Apparently, Colt Brennan, John David Booty and Andre Woodson are stinking up the joint, whilst Chad Henne's stock has been going up.

Brennan apparently lacks a big time arm, and gives the defensive backs plenty of time to get to the ball.

Woodson, surprisingly, has been incredibly inaccurate.

Booty has been lacking a big time arm.

Henne, meanwhile, has the best long distance arm.

I always pay attention to Senior Bowl QB assessments, because they are usually fairly accurate. Last year, QBs Troy Smith, Drew Stanton, Chris Leak, and Jordan Palmer were at the Senior Bowl. Smith was the most impressive. Who got on the field in the NFL? Smith.

Henne is going to be a solid NFL QB. He will probably be the last QB from Michigan to succeed in the NFL.

And yes, SI does say that Barton is doing a better job against speed rushers.

Did I hear someone say Henne had two patented Henne heaves for TD's, good to see him move on up the rankings, I could never find the pure hatred for him that I can usually get for scUM QB's, may have something to do with his impressive resume againgst tOSU :slappy:

South tops North in Senior Bowl

Caldwell scores game-winning TD with no time left

South WR Andre Caldwell celebrates his game-winning
TD in the Senior Bowl by doing the Florida Gators' famous Chomp.

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- For once, Andre Caldwell and Erik Ainge had a dramatic finish that both could cheer.
Florida's Caldwell scored on a 2-yard end around off a handoff from Tennessee's Ainge on the final play of the
Senior Bowl to cap a 14-play, 86-yard final drive and lift the South to a 17-16 win over the North on Saturday.

This Gator is happy for Bubba. I think he goes earlier now.
