though the guy is still an idiot, villanize is a word; however, he did misspell it.
interesting fact: this game will break the tie from the last fifty years. the series is at 24-24-2.

I think it's pronounced "Moose Booger" or something.
Here's a copy of the e-mail I just sent him:
"As an alumni of Ohio State I value the fact that you can speak your mind in your article "Rivalry too Overhyped" but how about learning how to spell before you make yourself look like any more of an idiot.

It's spelled "villainize."

It is spelled correctly.
Villain is spelled "ain" not "ian."
And it does not end with "ise" but rather "ize."

you obviously don't like to do research. like i said, if you're going to correct someone, make sure that you're correct. otherwise, you look like a fool.
of course. now cite the message where someone spelled the wording with the ending -ise.

I just linked Merriam-Webster above to show you I spelled it correctly!
He spelled it "Villianize" not the correct way which is "Villainize."
