Just to muddle things up even more, I googled both villanize and villainize. Villanize returned 1,600 entries. Villainize returned 9,300. Villanize may be proper, but only about 1 out of 7 people know that. :tongue2:

Holy shit, this is fun, huh guys :(
I just looked in my Webster's unabridged dictionary circa 1985 and villainize isn't in there, in any of it's forms. It is a newly made up word and as such I say its spelling is up in the air. But, if I had to vote I would say Thump's spelling is wrong. Maybe we should start a poll?

Edit: BTW Thump, don't try to grammar nazi or anything like it with buckguy, he has this wierd Karmic energy that makes you fumble around and fuck things up, even when you're right. :p
actually, villanize can be found in websters 1828 dictionary ( http://www.onelook.com/?w=villanize&last=villainize&loc=spell1 ). like vrbryant, i prefer vilify. please note, thump, how vilify and villain differ in the number of l's.

wow, findlay, i had no idea. lol. i do not bring up someone's misspellings or grammar mistakes unless he or she corrects someone else or me. i make my own mistakes from time to time. i'm far from perfect; however, i do expect that a self-appointed grammar or spelling nazi be impeccable.
