Seed's Famous Chili Recipe

seed702

A dyin' breed.
Hey y'all. I hold parties every time OSU's in a big-time game, and I'm always asked to make my chili. Instead of being a narcissistic creep and claiming to have a secret recipe that would compromise national security if leaked, I openly share my recipe with everyone.

Because several of my friends have tried, and failed miserably, I decided to make a video. I posted it to my Facebook for said friends, and thought to myself, "What kind of Buckeye would I be if I didn't share this with my pals at BP?!"

So here's a video of me making some pretty good chili. As you'll be able to quickly tell from the number of views, I'm obviously not whoring for YouTube hits. Right now, the video has about 7 views. But it's a great tool for those looking to make chili this winter.

Also, I'd love feedback, as I'm always trying to make my chili, and everything else I make, better. I worked in restaurants for years, and learned a few tricks, some of which are in the video.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy, if for nothing else, to poke fun at my less-than-stellar physical appearance. Expect several edits, as I attempt to embed my video here...if possible.

Merry Christmas, guys! GO BUCKS! :osu:

Less than 30 seconds in...ground beef.

Click.

Off.
That's just it, anything that involves ground beef and opening cans probably isn't something I'd want to eat. Usually when I think of people eating chili I think of fat guys sitting in front of their TV in their fruit of the looms and wife beaters lifting a butt check up every other minutes to rip a fart.

It's pretty clear you've never had a bowl of decent chili.

It's not what you'll find at Wendy's or Frisch's.

What do wings and waffle fries make you think of...:slappy:

You can also make chili with other types of meat besides ground beef. Personally I like turkey. There is certainly no harm in using fresh tomatoes and fresh herbs and other fresh ingredients along with your spices....

I had a decent bowl of chili in Flagstaff, AZ once. It was a fine dinning establishment and the made a chili out of trimming from their better cuts of meat and it was very good. The homemade chili with the ground beef, canned tomatoes and beer just isn't my thing. If I was drunk enough I'm sure I'd eat it though.
