Assistant HC/Secondary/CB Coach Tim Walton (Official Thread)

QBs, check
WRs, check
RBs, check
DBs, check
DLs, check
Looks good. Hell, looks fantastic.
Now, get back to me when we can add OLs and LBs, or have I missed something?
Now when you say check, what are you referring to?
Because with Eli Lee in the fold, and TJ Alford next(and OSU also getting another 4star), you can also say check for LB

Needs a new heading..... Assistant Head Coach... well deserved..... the man is getting paid. Congrats coach!

Walton's cornerback development and recruiting acumen make his elevation no surprise. Ohio State boasted the No. 1 pass defense in all of college football last season, giving up 145.9 yards per game, in large part thanks to cornerbacks Denzel Burke, Davison Igbinosun and Jordan Hancock.

And #1 in yards per attempt

#2 in pass efficiency (only OSU and ND held opponents to double digits in PE)

#3 in completion percentage

imagine If a team were to have db recruiting like this AND wide receiver recruiting that was just as ridiculous. Sure, it could never happen in the real world, but could you imagine how intense the practices would be at this hypothetical utopian program? Talk about iron sharpening iron!

crazy, I know, but a Buckeye can dream, right?
How is the OL recruiting and development coming?

And now you add perhaps the best safety in the nation in Downs to the secondary that put up those numbers. Can't be better than #1, but I hope to see the same results with perhaps more turnovers and the secondary will be elite.
