I suspect that the job titles have more to do with justification to increase salaries vs just stroking egos - although one could argue that salaries are the biggest stroke to one's ego.Boy, it really seems like Day is having to do all sorts of contortions with respect to job titles to make sure there's no toe-stepping and all the coaches are happy. It seems like everybody is getting a promotion to coordinator of something or another! I just hope inside the Woody, everybody is clear on the pecking order and who's responsible for what. Don't want a situation of too many chiefs! I guess that's why there's a head coach, and why he got that big extension! Day needs to lay all that out very clearly. We don't need the infighting that apparently occurred on the defensive coaching staff the past couple years.
