2016 SEC Graduation Rates - admittedly, it's not a great look for the Dawgs!




A deeper dive into the numbers offers some explanation (but not much comfort)

The NCAA developed the Division I Graduation Success Rate in response to college and university presidents who wanted graduation data that more accurately reflect the mobility among all college students today.

Both the Graduation Success Rate and the Academic Success Rate account for the academic outcomes of student-athletes who transfer from one institution to another. The rate compiled using the federal government's methodology does not count transfers in and counts transfers out as graduation failures.

The class of 2013 (where UGA had 13 Transfers) continues to haunt UGA.

Alright, another update from the sec network. They have a diagram showing the sec chickenshit saturday lineup where they referred to Bama playing Chattanooga as 'A tune-up game' and 'not a throwaway game'. Compared the tide to a muscle car waiting for a car show and to treat Chattanooga as a test drive. This show is great!

It’s been six weeks since Hurricane Matthew caused the cancellation of LSU at Florida. Both teams had to pay off their originally scheduled opponents for the 19th, with Florida doling out $500,000 to Presbyterian and LSU paying $1.5 million to South Alabama, according to ESPN.

lol. one slight problem with him being there.

the "live" shots of the Stadium they kept showing were at least 4-5 years old.

the upper deck in south end zone that was finished and open for business for the '14 season wasn't there in the shots they showed.

neither were the cranes used to build it that was there for at least a couple years during construction.

So the SEC "championship" game will feature undefeated Alabama vs a team who just lost by 18 points to a team Louisville beat by 6 touchdowns.

Can't wait for that one. :roll1:
