OSU SPORTS;1651614; said:
It will be on CBS Sports...On directv that is Ch 613....on Wednesday there are several possibilities...11am there is the Max Preps National Signing Day show..after that a 3 hour show..HS Football Year in Review..after that another Max Preps National Signing Day show(4 hours long)...so one of those...I don't see Henderson coming to OSU...but I'm recording the shows...I want to see how Henderson handles himself..

Recap 11am(1 hr), noon to 3pm, 4-7pm...

I knew that. Luckily I have Directv and 3 TVs in my living room so I will have ESPNU's recruiting show on as well as CSTV's show. I was just wondering if there was a firm time set for the announcement so I dont miss it since I work from home.

I love telecommuting! Especially on days like Wednesday.

Recruiting: AC100 Finalized
By Braden Gall

Congratulations to the 6-foot-8, 340-pound Seantrel Henderson, America?s No. 1 senior football prospect in 2010.

The big blocker has never missed a start (38) for his varsity football team (freshman are not permitted on the varsity squad) and hasn?t allowed a sack in either of his last two seasons. He also led his team to a state championship this fall. All of this at a program that is renowned for its great athletics. Some of the alumni include one of the top Milwaukee Brewers of all-time (Paul Molitor), a Heisman Trophy/national championship-winning quarterback (Chris Weinke), maybe the greatest hitting catcher in history (Joe Mauer) and six-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman who went to Harvard (Matt Birk). Oh, and his O-line coaches are two former NFL offensive lineman in Ray Hitchcock and John Alt.

According to Tom Lemming of MaxPreps, Henderson is only the second offensive lineman in history to be ranked as the No. 1 prospect in the nation (Bill Fralic of Penn Hills in 1980). The lineman will announce his college of choice with Lemming on NSD. He will pick between USC, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida, Miami and Minnesota.

Kiffin get his shot at OT Henderson
January 29, 2010
By Erik McKinney
WeAreSC.com

...
"We were impressed," said Sean Henderson, Seantrel's father. "They did a great job in a real short amount of time."

...
"We try to get them to make their best impression on him," Henderson said. "We want them to put their best foot forward and give him as much information as they can, because there is a very small window of opportunity for him to make this decision come next Wednesday."

...
"He's a great person," Henderson said of Kiffin, obviously not buying what the mainstream media has been selling. "He had an opportunity and did what was best for him and his family. What [the media isn't] saying is that he was part of [USC's] success in a big way before. It's not like he just jumped up and left Tennessee for any job."

...
"Once every now and then I ask him if he knows what he wants to do," Henderson said. "In fact, I asked him last night. He always says, 'No,' and that's it. I don't pry. The decision will be 100-percent his. I don't have a favorite. His mother doesn't have a favorite. The less input any of us have on where he should go, the easier it will make it on him."

Seantrel: Latin for Scarlet & Gray?

But, based on what we've been told -- and it should in no way be written on any type of official biblical tablet carved in stone or anything -- Henderson looks to be headed for the Buckeyes. With the Fighting Irish nipping at the heels in a close second.

Henderson: Big man on somebody's campus

Cretin-Derham Hall senior Seantrel Henderson will announce his college choice on Wednesday, and the Gophers are one of the contenders.

SUPER PREPS 2010 Seantrel Henderson of Cretin-Derham Hall, one of the highest-rated recruits in the nation, will end the speculation this week.

As the final days of the college football recruiting season began melting away into the final hours, Gophers coach Tim Brewster was a man in a hurry. During one 24-hour period last week, he made home visits to recruits in Houston, Detroit, Indianapolis and Miami.

"We're in the home stretch of this thing, and we're trying to bring those horses home," Brewster said from Miami.

Amid all the scurrying from time zone to time zone, however, Brewster knows that the biggest prize of all is right in his back yard, living close enough to TCF Bank Stadium to ride a bicycle to campus.

That prize recruit was in Miami a few days later, also on recruiting business. Cretin-Derham Hall tackle Seantrel Henderson, who has his pick of the top programs in the country, left his Minneapolis home Friday to visit the University of Miami.
