Most importantly, he claims his dad is a big part of his recruitment and dad really likes OSU. There are certainly plenty of positive signs at this point.

WOW.
Uncertainty at UF and USC can only help the rest of college football.
Although Meyer now is reportedly NOT starting his "leave of absence" until after signing day. Nice.

Henderson has answers in San Antonio

Because of his size, because of his dominance, everyone here at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is talking about him. Everyone wants to know what's next.
"His athleticism for his size really stands out," said former NFL lineman and Shawnee Mission (Kan.) Bishop Miege coach Tim Grunhard, who's coaching the West offensive line. "You always have some big guys, but a lot of times their feet are behind or their ability to move laterally or their balance.
"He has all three of those things going for him. He needs to add a little more power at the punch, at the line of scrimmage, but that will come with time. He's been going against kids where he didn't need that. Now he needs that and he can get to that because he has the size and strength and balance."
Henderson has backed up his lofty ranking this week as he continues to navigate the recruiting process. He already has visited Ohio State, Notre Dame, USC and Florida. Oklahoma or Miami should get the fifth trip.

Starting Point: Mauer's best prep times were Friday nights
Reigning AL MVP was also football and basketball star at Cretin-Derham; Former national Gatorade football POY gives Seantrel Henderson recruiting advice

Cretin-Derham hadn't won another state football crown until last Nov. 27, when it avenged the loss to its arch-rival Eden Prairie 16-5. It finished off a 12-1 season for the Raiders, who were led by the nation?s No. 1 recruit Seantrel Henderson, a behemoth 6-8, 330-pound lineman who has yet to announce his college plans.
His latest top four possibilities are Florida, Notre Dame, Ohio State and USC. Mauer has met Henderson a few times - "Man, he's a big boy - a man among boys," Mauer said - and tried to offer some recruiting advice.
"I told him that it can be a crazy time but to just enjoy his senior year," Mauer said. "I told him to enjoy his classmates and just enjoy being a kid. Everything changes once you enter major college sports and of course professional sports. Just enjoy this time now because you can't get it back."

Seantrel Henderson, OL (West, #77) AC100 No. 1
This one is easy. Henderson is the unanimous choice as America?s top prospect this season and he has had a good week of work. The Minnesota native will be facing some of the best pass rushers in the nation and he can bet those guys will be ready to take their shot at the No. 1 player in the nation. He will get tested with AC100 names like Chris Martin, Jacques Smith, Brandon Willis and J.R. (Ego) Ferguson trying to get to the West?s quarterback.
