Bill Self better be careful. Kansas won 14 straight conference titles from 2005-18. They've won just one of the last three and have bowed out in the second round of their last two tournament appearances. I live amongst a lot of KU fans and there's a growing restlessness. He's been very successful, but with this scandal, they're now realizing that despite all of the talent they've had under Self, they have just one national championship to show for it in his 18 years and their recruiting has been slipping a bit.

Kansas already found their new athletic director, they hired Travis Goff away from Northwestern- Goff is from Kansas, and a Kansas grad.

Regarding the scandals surrounding the basketball program at Kansas, it would not shock me in the least if Bill Self gets fired by the end of April. Being the new guy- Goff will want to clean house, to make the alumni base think he's being proactive.

Report: Sean Miller's next job likely as NBA assistant

It was reported Wednesday that the University of Arizona fired men’s basketball coach Sean Miller. Miller became the second high-profile coach on campus to leave their post in recent months, following in the footsteps of Kevin Sumlin, who was fired as Arizona football coach in December.

A number of candidates have been mentioned as possible replacements for Miller. The school’s decision to part ways with Miller drew a wide-ranging collection of reactions via social media throughout the day.

The immediate employment prospects of Miller may include the NBA. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski provided an update Wednesday on what the next step could be for the now-former Arizona coach.

“Sean Miller’s immediate future is likely as an NBA assistant coach,” Wojnarowksi tweeted. “At least one team expressed interest in the offseason, sources said, and now that he’s left Arizona, it’s expected Miller will move in that direction in the offseason.”
