U-M fan selling his allegiance

BYRON CENTER -- After one of their worst starts in University of Michigan football history, Pastor Chad McCallum of Byron Center has had enough of his beloved Wolverines. U-M is 0-2 after being upset by Appalachian State and Oregon.
McCallum is auctioning off his team loyalty to the highest bidder on eBay.com. He says the highest bidder will get to decide which football team he will now support - Division I, II, III or even junior college.
"Part of what had me have the idea is that with a season like this I thought something good has to come out of it. So the best thing I could do is try to raise some money for a good cause and some people we support here in the area. I'm a big Michigan fan and have been frustrated like a lot of other fans this season," McCallum told 24 Hour News 8.
The money raised will go to Byron Community Ministries, which supports families in need in the Byron Center area.
The auction ends September 20.

Great post, I agree.

I am thinking of getting in the business of making them... there needs to be more accurate ones like "Fat Ass Douchebag" and "Pointless Troll with Too Much free time" and "Tits or GTFO" stuff that really matters. What you like is un-important to me.

Converting in Michigan

Hey guys! First of all, Go Bucks!:oh::io:

I don't know if any of you saw this on ESPN or even on EBAY, but a local pastor here in Grand Rapids, Michigan decided to sell his allegiance to U of M after their pathetic beginning to the football season. He put his allegiance up on EBAY to the highest bidder, for which he would do a number of things - wear the school colors of the winner's school choosing, fly the flag each game day, learn the fight song and sing it in a public place.

Well, much to the dismay of many, I won the bid (I live in Michigan, but am of course an avid Buckeye fan - hello, the dog's name is Buckeye). So, even though we have to pay to convert these Michigan lovers, we're getting 'em one at a time and keeping up the good fight.:biggrin:

If we'd have known, you might have gotten some of us to pitch in an extra $20 so that he would have had to buy OSU gear for his kids.
