They're everywhere. Saving stranded kittens from trees, pulling babies out of burning buildings and saving strangers lives at the scenes of random car accidents. They're modern-day superheroes. Tom Cruise told me so, and Maverick has no reason to lie to me.

I see Scientology people outside the CVS pharmacy on High Street right off campus all the time. They have a table with books and other information. Sometimes I want to ask them why they're crazy.

They're thick as thieves in Clearwater FL. One of their major HQs is there and they've been buying up the downtown area bit by bit over the past 20 years or so.

Clearwater is to Scientologists what Independence MO is to Mormons.

There is a center just down the road from me. During the Anonymous protests, there was a for sale sign on the building. After them, the sign was gone but the center is still operating.

Their usual method is to try to get people in to be "audited" first. This "personality test" is free. They use that appointment to proselytize some, yes.
