What I'd do is go to http://www.sportsdepot.com/footballhelmets.html and order it in Metallic Silver. Order a grey facemask with it. Then go to Ebay and find the decals.
Maybe also search Ebay for a completed one.

OSU Official Replica Helmets

ignoring the newfangled revolution helmets, OSU uses the riddell air helmets. notice the ridge of the middle stripe.

In recent years, I do not remember OSU using the schutt helmets, with the holes at the top (they'd be very noticeable on our metallic helmet).

Riddell also sells authentics...and they are easy enough to find. I have them for almost all the NFL teams, and they make all the major colleges too.

It's player preference. When I was in college, most people wore the Schutt because Riddells were uncomfortable to most people's heads. I hear the Revolution helmets are comfortable.

you should ask yourself as you are extending the conversation. This is a pretty backwards attempt to mock me. Am I guilty of complaining about non-existant holes in the helmet, that would look bad if they did? You're stretching on this one.

no doubt about that. I was merely pointing out the differences in the official helmet, and somehow it has turned into a crapfest about me mentioning the holes.

I thought it was a preference thing - some of the younger guys on the OSU team do have the ones with holes at the top.
