You think the Earth is flat, too? Clemson is playing as well as anyone, if not better. They started slow but obviously they have hit their stride.
Won’t matter, it’s all sEcSPiN owned and driven....The Committee just exposed themselves as spineless and subject to the pressures of whiny SEC media and fans. It was pretty clear that if you scrutinize the entire body of work, and care about which team is actually better, OSU deserved to be #1. So OSU fans just need to bitch a lot more next time there is a debate.

What's being overlooked is that I see a high possibility of Riley putting 40+ on that LSU defense and wouldn't be surprised at all to see Okie win some 48-45 shootout game.
Clemson is actually better than LSU. So no.
So a win over #4 compared with a win over #8 is a clear advantage, when an entire 12-game body of work previously supported the team who was playing #8? This is how kooky narratives spin public opinion out of control. I thought body of work mattered, that's the real problem. I thought performance in the regular season of 12 games was supposed to matter more than style points for beating the #4 team when your opponent with the stronger body of work previously beats #8 by 13 the same day. OSU looks a bit better throughout the entire season of 12 games, one week LSU looks better and now all of sudden they're #1. IMO, OSU proved they were the better team with their entire body of work over 13 games, and they were still seen as the better team based on power ratings and analytics so I do think the public perception and lobbying may have been what got LSU the top spot.Exposed to who? Prevailing thoughts all week were that LSU was playing to take back the #1 spot. I've heard the same from most Fox personalities too. Most fans take what they hear at face value and you are crazy if you think that you will get a anything other than "lol butthurt Buckeye fans" if you advocate OSU should have been #1.
I think of it this way: if we aren’t good enough to beat Clemson we sure as hell aren’t good enough to beat LSU.
I look at it this way. We shouldn't have to go through both of them.
