Scenarios for Final 2022 CFP Rankings

They simply need the motivation before and during the game. This is not a bad team but they need to pull their heads out of their backsides when it comes to TSUN. Ohio State owns those guys. There is no pendulum. Go out there to annihilate them. Day needs to be this guy.

Right... diminishing their top win.

I'll admit it. I just don't want to play Georgia lol.
I know Georgia looks invincible. But no one thought we could beat Alabama in 2014's semis either. My gut tells me we'd need 4 weeks to prepare for Georgia (as opposed to only having 1 if we met them in the finals). We don't need a month to prepare for Michigan. In fact, with the way we were over-stimulated in Columbus last week, maybe having us "boil" for a whole month could lead to the same result. I also think Georgia is more susceptible to a downfield passing game. If JSN returns, we could have more than a "puncher's chance".

Great points... well either way I'll be really excited to just get in the playoffs.

I’ve watched Georgia. They didn’t look invincible against Kent State and they didn’t look invincible against Georgia Tech. They just gave up over 500 yards in the air to LSU.

That’s a very beatable team.

I didn't watch the tsun game because, well, Chicago PBS was running the Martin-Sinatra Family Christmas Special, and I have standards. Apparently though, FOX let Saban come on and lobby for Bama to get into the playoffs. What the fucking fuck is up with that? That is NOT how this game needs to be played moving forward, and it good god damn well won't be how espn is playing it.

Call me crazy, but sometimes after an extended layoff teams come back a little rusty. This includes our team after a bye week or waiting for the bowl game. Georgia is clicking on all cylinders right now. I think this layoff could do more harm than good. On the flip side, it allows for us to get much healthier. I think the game is much closer than most will think. That’s if we stay at 4 and not 3, of course. Then we need to take care of TTUN.

I still need to see that we can be physical against tsun. I'm hopeful but unconvinced until it happens.
OSU didn't lose the physical battle against SCUM, they lost the mental one. Way too many mental mistakes made. Saw that Georgia gave up over 500 yards to LSU through the air but not sure if it was just a case of them calling off the dogs knowing purple face had no shot.

My worry is Lathan Ransom, McCallister and Hickman vs the Georgia tight ends. Particularly Washington who's literally an offensive tackle who can run.

Physically that's not a good time there... we'd need a player like Styles and Proctor to play in that game.
