Game Thread San Diego State Aztecs at tOSU, Sep 7, 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN2

182 yards of offense so far. -3 given up on defense.

It will be interesting to see if they maintain this level of performance and wrap up better in their tackling. Last week and this week, tackling has given up gains that would have been much more damaging against a good team.

Gator fans watching this game after their game will not have any difficulty figuring out the difference between Meyer and MustCramp as coaches.

To be clear this is not a post calling for the back up quarterback to be the starter. I believe over the course of a year Braxton provides a better overall chance of winning due to his athleticism. That said, Kenny sure seems to run the read-option smoother and makes better decisions in the option. It is a real joy to watch him run it. Ohio state is very luck to have suck a competent back up. Thanks for sticking it out Kenny!

If I recall, that 27-6 game started with an 80 yard TD pass by SDSU...maybe on their very first play from scrimmage.

The brilliant sideline reporter dame referred to it as a kick return for a touchdown.

Steve Miller again!

I was at that 2005 game. SDSU scored on an 80 yard TD pass on their first series and did nothing after it. Sat by some of their fans. They were taking pictures of the scoreboard when it was 6-0. They were a lot of fun.
