Mario Cristobal is the dream hire for them. But it'll be a while before they can make contact, and will it be enough time to make up a relationship with Bruce

Davis was tied in that scandal, as well as part of the Nevin Shapiro scandal when he was at Miami. And yes, I believe Cristobal would retain Beard, as he was a GA when Beard was a player.
Miami, like many colleges who have history, would like to keep hiring guys that are alum or "their guys". Even if that could mean bypassing more qualified names
