S Mike Doss (3x All B1G, 3x 1st Team All-American, National Champion, OSU HOF, CFB HOF)

I don't think I'll ever forgive Butch Davis for not taking him in the second round last year.
You and me both ashlandbuck! By taking Doss, safety would have been one less area of need that the Browns have, it would have been filled with a local product, and someone who understands the importance of football in NE Ohio.

This year will be a good test to see what Butch is thinking in Cleveland.
I have never been so down on the Browns as I currently am. I feel that the Browns are like a rudderless ship without a captain lost in a sea of confusion.
Butch has been in Cleveland for 3 drafts. Has he cut any player that he has drafted? I can't think of one that he has which tells me all I need to know about his ego.

BuckinMich - I don't count Jeremiah Pharms since he went to jail before he could be signed (if I remember correctly). I try, I mean I really try to keep the faith but these are the most trying times I have experienced.

Prof,

I don't count him either, but it just kind of sums up what the fans have gone through since their return. I read an article a couple of weeks ago that said all of Davis' picks are still with the team, except Pharms. Of course, he is out of jail now, so maybe he can be invited in for a tryout.

I think Lerner is getting more comfortable in his role, Policy knows what he is doing and Wolf was a good hire. They need a true GM and tell Butch to focus on coaching or he will be done soon. I am optimistic in Robiskie and the new TE coach, since he had a good record at Miami and is from northern Ohio. I just gotta keep the faith.

Hey, at least they did not draft Akili Smith!

Doss pulled his hamstring tonight vs. the Patriots. After he was taken to the locker room, Brady went down the field and threw a touchdown right between the Colt safeties. Too bad Doss got hurt. :(

Indianapolis Colts safety Mike Doss, a McKinley High School graduate, is expected to miss at least three weeks with a pulled hamstring.

Doss pulled up lame during a punt return early in Thursday night’s 27-24 season-opening loss at New England. He was taken from the sideline to the locker room on a golf cart.

Coach Tony Dungy confirmed Friday that Doss could miss several weeks.

“It looks like it will be a while, probably at least three weeks,” Dungy said. “We’ve got some guys on the roster who can play and will play.”

Backup Anthony Floyd replaced Doss for most of Thursday’s game.
