Buckeyes' Tyler Moeller relishes his return - Big Ten Blog - ESPN

...

"He got a tackle and said, 'I may be white, but I'm fast!'" Buckeyes linebacker Brian Rolle recalled. "He said it out loud."

When asked if the comment was accurate, Moeller blushed a bit: "Something like that," he said.

Cobrani is a beast and projects to a MLB. His frame leads me to believe that he will wind up in the 6-3 range and top out around 245 by the time he is a senior. Cobrani recently ran a 4.65 40 on a knee that he says is only about 85%...last year Cobra was in the high 4.4 range...the kid can fly...Cobrani, like Tyler are both sure tacklers as they are both products of excellent coaching.

Tyler is pure speed and quickness and delievers a serious wallop when he gets to the point of impact. But I don't think he is going to get much taller then 6-1 and around 215 to 220...he has a hard time keeping weight on. This is why most coaches project him as a hard hitting safety. But Tyler can fly and gets excellent leverage off the edge and wants to continue as an OLB in college. That is where the Iowa and VaTech offers come into play (as well as Miami-OH) because their defensive schemes allow for a blitzing OLB that can fly off the edge regardless of size.

I like them both, as you could proabably tell...lol...But if Tyler were to give in and accept the move to safety, his stock would rise even higher.

I like being right.

Welcome back, Bobby Boucher...you've been missed!

Congrats Tyler, and great work. Move this kid to everydown, and you can run a muck with the other LB's blitzing, etc. He could cause a lot of trouble with blocking schemes/ blitz pickup for the other teams. Can't wait to see this kid strive this year.
