I feel terrible, but I don't think he should ever risk his brain for football. And I don't think he should take the chance to find out.
Is this even worth tweeting? Ralph Gray Decker's case continued AGAIN (fifth time) to Feb. 16.

This guy gets his case continued a countless number of times for putting someone into the hospital (and damn near killing him) yet my co-worker's daughter can't get a continuance in a BS "rolling stop" case, and her reason for the continuance request is the fact that she is in high school and has a test schedule the same day. Seriously, where is the justice in that?

Decker trial finally set
By the time Ralph Gray Decker goes to trial on June 2, more than 10 months will have passed since he punched OSU linebacker Tyler Moeller in a Florida bar/restaurant.
Moeller's head hit the floor, and he suffered a subdural hematoma (bleeding on the brain) that forced him to sit out the 2009 season and put his football career in jeopardy. Moeller has resumed working out and is hopeful he can play this fall, but that's still questionable.
I did not write that Decker "allegedly" punched Moeller, because Decker does not dispute that fact -- good thing, as there were numerous witnesses. He is charged with felony battery, but Decker's attorney has said his client acted in self defense.
The case has been continued a half-dozen times since August. The two sides have spent months gathering depositions from many witnesses.
Today, a trial date was finally set in Pinellas (Fla.) County Court.
Stay tuned, though. It's not a definite that this case will even go to trial. A plea deal is possible.
