S/LB Tyler Moeller (official thread)

Tyler Top 5 finalist for Mr. Ohio

It was also reported in the Columbus Dispatch yesterday listed as a top 5. One unconfirmed source said he was #4 overall choice for the award. Regardless, its an amazing rise from Tyler being overlooked for post season awards last year.

Speed and Heart kill ! Tyler is as tall or taller than A.J. Hawk, Chris Spielman, Mike Singletary and 2 of the 3 starting LB's for the Indy Colts Bracket and June. Bracket is 5-11 and June is 6-0. both are around 225 soaking wet....and you know Indy added a couple pounds and an inch for the media guide. Plus, Indy is not having that bad of a year....

Granted Bracket and June run 4.45's and Tyler only runs a 4.48 and the Big Ten is a little tougher than NFL but still I think Tyler has the size and speed to get a few plays in over the next 4 or 5 years. Just my opinion :) . Here is the link

The 18-year-old senior who has a scholarship to play college football at Syracuse beat out Coldwater's Ross Homan, Bellaire's Nate Davis and Colerain's Tyler Moeller for the ultimate prize
honoring the state's top prep player.

The five-foot-ten, 200-pound Carter carried 302 times for two-thousand-788 yards and 47 touchdowns while leading his Akron-area school to a nine-and-three record this season.

Carter says his offensive linemen deserve the credit for him winning the award that's now in its 19th year.

His coach, Dan Boarman, says Carter is a leader who made his teammates better players.

Tyler is a madman...

After the Colerain season ended three weeks ago Tyler began an all out regiment to gain 20-25 lbs by the time he reports to Columbus...his mother even complained that Tyler was going to eat her out of house and home...

I can report that after three weeks of lifting and protein shake ingesting (Tyler is lifting 5 days a week under the supervision of Colerain's strength coach) that Tyler is up to 210 and is looking as ripped as ever. When the kid puts his mind to a goal, he will not stop or slow down until he reaches it.

Is Tyler going to play any other sports or is he just going to work on preparing for the Bucks?

That has to be a strength coaches dream to get to build an athlete like Tyler who is willing to do whatever it takes to reach his goals.

Is he following a program the Bucks have given him?
