S Kurt Coleman (All B1G, All-American)

I just watched some of his videos, very impressive. I really like that he squares up and doesn't try to arm tackle people. I'm sure he could get away with arm tackles at the HS level but it's great to see the form is there to play in college already. I definitely hope to see Kurt on the field next season...I think I saw it mentioned he was enrolling early, might we get a chance to see him in the spring game?

Yes, he should play in the spring game.

jamario o'neal will be returning before any of those guys . . . with the exception of gonzo. he did a little punt returning this year, as the #2 man with teddy ginn

:osu:

Holmes and Ginn were the punt returners all year. Gonzo got to take a punt or two in garbage time, and maybe O'Neal was back there with him then, but O'Neal was never the #2 returner.

If he would get in the weight room a little more often his arms would almost be as big as mine :wink2:

I just looked at his highlight tape for the first time, and wow...

He can really lay the wood, maybe the most impressive thing though is that he takes GREAT angles to the ball-carrier every play.

There is a great article about this by HighStreet/Greg Powers. He specifically details Coleman in his discussion on something called Zero Angle with respect to tackling. I will see if I can locate it. The kid is a missle.

I found it but its on that s&g site which I am not sure I am allowed to link here. I googled it, should be one of the top links google

Wow, now that's a rather large limb. If you're right, that will be very impressive, true Fr starting at CB, not sure if that's good (Curt's awesome) or bad (others not so good) I just hope our offense can get us by our growing pains on D :oh: .
