He is a great team player and I hate that injuries have piled up for him. Wouldn't surprise me if he is voted a captain. Regardless, I hope he can have a meaningful impact this year and have a shot at landing on an NFL roster.

I actually forgot about that one, had to go back and watch it. Proctor disintegrated Conklin, maybe the hardest tackle I've seen from a Buckeye other than the Dumas hit. On both I'm halfway surprised the other guy lived.

True, but overall I thought he looked pretty good out there sans coverage on special teams. I don't think he was ever a huge liability in pass coverage though, he just kept getting hurt and I was concerned on him just in terms of losing speed or mobility with all the injuries. I don't think that is a concern at all after watching the IU game...but you're not wrong, need to see him against high level competition to make a true judgment, though the first game was encouraging to me.

The hilarious part is it was of absolutely no consequence. That QB was talking shit all game long and tried to steal a garbage TD at the end of the game that wouldn't have changed the outcome. Ended up getting absolutely clobbered instead. It was beautiful

Josh Proctor Set to Return to Starting Lineup, “Play A Lot” vs. Western Kentucky After Missing Youngstown State Game
Josh Proctor will be available and Ryan Day expects him to start and “play a lot” against Western Kentucky after Proctor was sidelined for the Youngstown State game.
JOSH PROCTOR SET TO RETURN TO STARTING LINEUP, “PLAY A LOT” VS. WESTERN KENTUCKY AFTER MISSING YOUNGSTOWN STATE GAME
Josh Proctor will be back in Ohio State’s starting lineup at free safety this week.Ryan Day said Thursday that Proctor will be available for Saturday’s game against Western Kentucky after missing the Youngstown State game due to injury, and Day expects Proctor to start and play the majority of snaps at free safety against the Hilltoppers.
“He'll be available, and he'll play a lot,” Day said Thursday. “We'll still rotate guys, but Josh will be there and he'll plan on starting.”

I hope that Josh is up to full speed. This will be a good test of his coverage skills. Hoping for a big season out of Josh.

He looked a whole lot more like his old self in the first game, but as you said this will be a better test to his coverage skills. He looked pretty quick to the ball and the only plays he erred on he just took bad angles...plus it was #12 from IU, who is lightning quick and really a hell of a player. With all the adversity, I really hope he has a big year as well.

Bad angles has always been Josh's challenge. But I agree with you that he played really well against Indy. Hoping for the same against WKU.
