S Josh Proctor (Official Thread)

I didn't really pay alot of attention when it happened, and it seemed like he was sitting on the back of the cart fairly quickly. But if you go through this clip second by second starting about the 0;20 mark, it doesn't look good at all. Best of luck in your recovery Josh, and Get Well soon!

I too, didn't see the injury in game and was wondering why Gus & Joel didn't say anything.
Damn! This kids been thru the damned mill. Finally healthy and a starter and now this.
Did he already burn his redshirt or maybe can get a waver for an extra year?

A hearty GET WELL SOON Josh!

He can definitely get another year if he wants it. Not 100% sure a year is enough for that injury.

Josh Proctor ruled out for season, expected to return to Buckeyes next year

Considering the gruesome nature of the injury suffered on Saturday before the air cast was put on his leg and the senior was carted to the locker room, that is no stunner. But it does not appear that his career with the Buckeyes will end just yet.

Multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation indicated to Lettermen Row that Proctor is already planning his return to Ohio State next season with eligibility still on the table for him.

"Day said he did not know the specific diagnosis of Proctor's injury, but said he suffered a fracture and underwent surgery."

This bothers me. How could he not know the diagnosis of one of his starters? I have a crew of 50 direct reports, and would know what happened to them if it happened on my watch. Coach has a crew of at most 33 starters and doesn't know? That's an issue to me.
