Probably takes the cake for anything in the non-Tatum category in effect, but the Dumas hit, which unfortunately just fired up the opponent, is probably the most vicious I’ve seen by a Buckeye.
Semi on topic, but there was a catch over the middle late in the game that the OSU safety easily could have broken up with even the smallest amount of contact, but they chose to not put a hit on at all because of these new rules.
Hopefully it was Proctor for the sake of being appropriate topic for this thread.
I’m not complaining one way or the other, just stating it as a fact.
In terms of trying to prevent injuries, I think it makes sense. But when I saw that my thought was “this is the football we have now.”
