White's attitude was bad when he was drafted...so this comes as no shock. Of course maybe if he doesn't show some more respect, they'll beat it into him.

How disappointing for Jeff Fisher, he's usually better than that...but I'm sure he's been told to feed the White hype machine, so calling out Nickey is no surprise.

Camp scrap weighs heavily on White


Titans running back LenDale White didn't have much fun watching Saturday night's preseason opener against the Saints from the sideline in street clothes.
The rookie was being disciplined by Coach Jeff Fisher for spitting on safety Donnie Nickey during a practice field skirmish.

"It was hard because I wasn't out there to compete," said White, who is expected to make his preseason debut on Saturday in Denver, his hometown.
White said he's received plenty of encouragement from teammates in the last few days, and on Monday he sounded apologetic for the first time since the incident.
"As far as spitting, that was the 100 percent wrong thing to do. But as far as going after him and pushing him, I felt that is what I needed to do. My emotions just got the best of me,'' White said. "There was a lot of things that worked into the situation. But I know that what I did was the wrong thing.
"He is my teammate … and I apologized and everything is fine. From here on out we're going to go out and win a lot of football games."

haha, didn't this happen with LenDale last year, but he spit in Donnie's face. With all the talk of him punching with his throwing hand, I can't seem to get the scene of Bull Durham out of head when they are in the bar and Crash (Kevin Costner) dares the young pitcher (Tim Robbins) to punch, but is really just checking to see if he is smart enough to punch with his non-pitching hand.

Donnie needs to be careful. He's not exactly indispensable to the Titans, although I didn't think his "dirty" hit was anything more than a less than form tackle.
