A hip injury may keep standout running back Marcus Lattimore out of No. 9 South Carolina’s Southeastern Conference East showdown on Saturday at No. 3 Florida.

Coach Steve Spurrier said Lattimore didn’t practice on Tuesday or Wednesday and that his status is uncertain. If he’s unable to play, Kenny Miles likely would be his replacement.

“I don’t know how to list him,” Spurrier said. “I’m not sure if he’s even going to be able to play.”
Meanwhile, defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles has been suspended for Saturday’s game after he threw a punch during last week’s loss at LSU.

Quarles was unlikely to play anyway since he hadn’t practiced because of a shoulder injury.

hahah my thoughts exactly. I actually heard some douchebag (mike lupica) i think say fla was the #1 team in the country because all Bama has done is beat a team from a scrub conference
