Game Thread Rutgers @ Ohio State - 09/08/18, 3:30PM (BTN)

FYI.... posted this back on page 3 but figured it'd be helpful to ppl who don't have BTN:

I recently discovered if you're a cable subscriber that supports any of the ESPN or FOX apps you can watch these random networks. Last year, we paid for BTN--dropped it this year. This week, I picked up the PSU/App State game on BTN via the Watch Fox Sports app for free. I guess they own BTN.

This is also true for ESPN, ESPN2, etc.. The tOSU game switched from ESPN to ESPNews after the delay on live TV (at least in FL). ESPNews is a pay service. But, I was able to watch the entire game on the same account while my family missed the end of the game on TV.

Not sure if this is an oversight, but might as well take advantage of it for now.

Just get Chromecast & cast the app right to the TV or hook your computer to the TV with an HDMI cord.

I'm assuming you know most of this & how to sign into these apps via your Comcast/Spectrum/AT&T, etc. subscription.

However, I just discovered BTN was available on the FOX app for free and wanted to put it out there.

I tried this and it didn't work with the Fire TV stick.
