Game Thread Rutgers at #1 tOSU, Sat. Nov. 22nd, 12 pm ET, FOX

Looks like I’ll be in the BMW thread today too lol.

Seriously today is about winning and getting the game over. Won’t hear any complaints from me this week. I don’t care how it looks just win and get healthy.

That said, part of me wonders if this is the absolute lack or WR rotation coming back to hurt us right now. It’s been how many years of excellent WR play but only 3 play max.

Maybe if Graham subbed in for Tate occasionally or if Innis subbed in for Smith occasionally we wouldn’t have our best two WRs limiting their reps to close out the year because they’re hurt.

We play 4 RBs and wouldn’t you know they’re pretty healthy all things considered. I love Hartline but I wish he subbed more because IMO this likely could’ve been avoided.

Did we need Smith after the first drive against Grambling? Did we need Tate after half time vs Minnesota? I get they should play because they practice hard but sometimes you protect players from themselves when they’re so important for the teams success.
I’ll believe you when I see it.

I assumed there would be a good amount of rotation this season, but there’s always more to it than we think.

Rodgers being hurt, Porter being a frosh, and Graham not being as consistent as we thought he’d be after the spring game limited perceived depth.

Add in Sayin being young and it makes sense that they’d want to develop chemistry with the top 3 before worrying about anything else.
