Game Thread Rutgers at #1 tOSU, Sat. Nov. 22nd, 12 pm ET, FOX

Kaliakmanis has been shockingly competent this year.

He was awful against Oregon (at home) though (8/25 79 Yards 0 TD 2 INT)

They have a pretty good trio at WR that will definitely make our secondary work, need to get some pressure on the QB.
2 of those wideouts are big and have had decent seasons so far, Strong is 6’3” and Duff, Jr. is 6’6” and about 220 pounds.

Their RB Raymond has 200 carries for exactly 1000 yards, so even the math-challenged can work out that ypc stat. Although he has only averaged a little over 3 yards against the likes of Iowa, Oregon, and Illinois.

  • Ohio State has six players from the state of New Jersey on its roster, including three-year starting CB Davison Igbinosun (Union), starting DT Tywone Malone (Jamesburg) and starting SAF Jaylen McClain (Rahway).

Hope Tate and Smith can play a few drives just to warm up for next week and then Sayin gets more reps with the young WRs.
Agreed that if they are good to go they should get a couple of series just to keep the chemistry with Sayin. But outside of that, god forbid needing them to play, let them enjoy a game from the sidelines. Note: 'enjoy' is probably not how they feel about not playing.
