That would definitely be one angle.

It's just he reminds me of Locker with the touch of a sledgehammer. These throws are ugly as sin, and his receivers seem to be able to catch these wobbly things.

I think Grothe is actually a better passer right now than Locker. Locker throws everything as hard as he can. I've seen Grothe play a few times now this year. In terms of his passing, he's probably having his best game of the season so far tonight. He completed barely over 50% of his passes last week against a team that obviously wasn't up to the task - giving up over sixty points. This week however he's completing most of his passes, and his few incompletions have been on-target, but dropped by his receivers.

The problem with USF's offense as I see it is that while it is not one-dimensional, all of their dimensions come from just one player, which can be just as problematic. The RBs contribute nothing in terms of yardage or even rushing attempts, and the WRs drop passes that hit them in the hands.

i definitely want usf to lose. if ohio state makes it to the championship game, i want them to face an sec team or oklahoma. any other opponent would lead to endless cries that the championship isn't legitimate. while it may not matter what others think, i want our team to put this baby to sleep.

edit: ehh... just make it an sec team and only an sec team.

I'll take your word for it on Grothe. He doesn't impress me much, and that's all I should have said.

I agree about their Offense.

It looks like the "fastest defense in the land" isn't all that impressive either.

I wonder, "has anyone given thought to the possibility that even the SEC isn't all that great?" Which would mean that there is parity throughout the land?

Silly me. Don't know what I'm thinking.
